Appearance[]

Lum has green hair, green lipstick, green eyeshadow, and purple eyes. Her green hair is styled into a bob, with side bangs that cover one of her eyes. She has a beauty mark on the lower right of her mouth.

She is tall, thin, and has large breasts. She wears a revealing purple and black leotard with a cutout for her breasts, back, belly button, and bottom, along with matching gloves and thigh high boots.

History[]

Lum's past is unknown, though she does reveal that her relationship with Butter is that of owner and slave.

Personality[]

Lum is arrogant and conceited, condescending to Kochu as soon as she gets the chance. It's implied that she has a dominant personality from the nature of her relationship with Butter. She orders more than just Butter around though, even telling Kochu to simply "get out of [her] sight" before leaning down to call her a "worthless hag".

She's also shown to not be physically coordinated at all, as she's thrown to the wall by Kochu running headfirst into her, as well as falling on her face while running away from the scene.

Episode appearances[]

"Stowaway"[]

After Kochu confronts Butter's memory chip smuggling and infidelity, Lum leaves Butter's room at the commotion, asking who Kochu is. Butter mumbles that he loves them equally and Lum asks Kochu if she's Butter's stalker, as he is Lum's slave. While they begin to fight, Butter tries to crawl away. But their brawling causes hundreds of smuggled memory chips to fly into the air, along with a number of pairs of underwear.

Vanilla begins to interrogate Butter about the chips before announcing to the people that transporting memories is a serious felony. He demands to see tickets of Butter, Lum, and Kochu. At Kochu's refusal, he says that stowaways are to be executed, bringing out his blasting gun.

To Kochu's bitter shock, both Lum and Butter reveal their tickets. Lum runs and then falls on her face, with her ticket dropped onto the floor. As Vanilla focuses on Butter and Kochu, Lum is never seen again.

Other notes[]

  • Lum's lack of surprise at seeing the memory chips scattered on the floor implies that she may have already known about the smuggling.
  • Lum's extravagant body and display imply that either she had the funds to pay for her ticket, or that she made Butter pay her ticket with the money he earned from smuggling memory chips.
  • Although her name wasn't revealed in the show itself, it was eventually revealed in her concept art and the episode credits.
  • Lum's name in kanji ラム is often confused with this alternative kanji in her concept art Rama/Lama ラマ. Mistaking her name for a lama goat.
